Background
The Arts & Sciences website — around 7,000 pages plus associated images and media — ran on self-hosted Ubuntu servers on campus. Any upgrade meant significant downtime, and day-to-day changes required editing directly in production over SSH.
My Role
Worked with our CodeRed to migrate the entire site to CodeRed Cloud, a cloud hosting platform built for maintaining uptime.
Outcome
The site has run on CodeRed Cloud for years without significant downtime, replacing a fragile, high-maintenance setup with a managed, safer hosting environment.
