Background
Early in my role as Web Content Manager at D’Amore-McKim, I worked with our graduate marketing team to redesign the school’s graduate program pages. Rather than simply carrying out a contractor’s recommendations, I stepped in to create a framework for approvals and workflows around the redesign.
My Role
The redesign needed to address a few key gaps:
- Establishing workflows for page updates
- Creating approval processes for content changes
- Building organizational systems to track progress
Outcomes and Implementation
- Stakeholder meeting - brought together everyone involved in the redesign
- Guiding principles document - outlined the redesign methodology and stakeholder roles, including workflow diagrams
- Project management - used Asana to track each program page’s progress through the process
